HILLCREST TV NEWS UPDATE: Unknown Gunmen Kidnap Two Passengers In Kogi
Two Abuja-bound buses were recently waylaid by unknown gunmen and kidnapped the passengers in the Inele-Eteke Ogugu, New Road area in Kogi East Senatorial District.
Hillcrest News reliably gathered that the buses involved belong to transport buses of GIG and ABC respectively.
An eyewitness account had it that According to a source, the hijacked buses left villagers in the are highly terrified.
While confirming the incidence, Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP William Aya revealed that the DPO, local vigilantes and hunters have been in the bush in an effort to rescue the victims.
SP William Aya said “CP has deployed an additional Tactical Squad consist of Quick Response Unit, Police Mobile Force, and Counter-Terrorism Unit, as well as conventional police personnel, to the area to continue with the bush combing and to ensure all victims are rescued unhurt,”
