On the efforts made by the Renewed Hope administration of President Tinubu in tackling inflation and food insecurity, Governor Ododo commended the President for raising up to the challenge through prompt intervention in form of the distribution of food items across the country.
Governor Ododo intimated the President that with the positive feedback he got from the last palliative distribution in Kogi State, the exercise would be sustained all through this year.
While assuring the President of his readiness to sustain the legacies of the immediate past administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello in all sectors, Governor Ododo said the recent involvement of grassroots farmers in the fight against the paucity of farm produce would ensure an unbroken supply of food items within the state and beyond.
Subsequently, Alhaji Ododo appreciated President Tinubu for the timely and due attention given to the Abuja-Lokoja-Benin road which he affirmed is currently receiving the level of attention that reflects the determination of the Federal Government to complete the project.
Impressed by the performance of Alhaji Ododo in office in less than one hundred days, President Tinubu expressed optimism that Kogi people would continue to be contented by giving their mandate to the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) in last year’s November 11 governorship election.
