Gov. Ododo Charges Monarchs on Unbiased Distribution of Palliatives
Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has charged traditional rulers in the state to complement his efforts of ameliorating the suffering of the people by ensuring even and unbiased distribution of food items flagged off in Lokoja, the state capital.
In a press statement signed and made available to Hillcrest TV Reporter by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Comrade Oladele John Nihi, Alhaji Ododo called on the monarchs to ensure that the palliatives are distributed across the various wards of the state and also get to those who really deserve it.
Describing the royal fathers as crucial partners to the success of any administration, Governor Ododo once again expressed gratitude to them in the area of community policing and the overall development of Kogi State.
Some of the traditional rulers that were present were Ata Igala and President of the Kogi State Traditional Council of Chiefs; His Royal Majesty, Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Ogwuche-Akpa; the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland and Vice Chairman, Kogi Traditional Council of Chiefs, Ahmed Tijani Anaje; and the Obaro of Kabba and Secretary, Kogi State Traditional Council of Chiefs, His Royal Majesty, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi.
Others were the Ohimegye-Igu Koton-Karfe who is also the chairman of the Lokoja/Kogi traditional council, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu, the Ohiogba of Mozum, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Khalid Bukar, and His Royal Majesty, Williams Keke, the Aguma of Bassa.
