Babangida Tijani – South African can’t stop the Super Eagle from winning the AFCON 2023 tittle.
Tijani Babangida, a former Nigerian international, has disclosed that South Africa is unable to thwart the Super Eagles’ pursuit of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations championship.
Remember that the two sides will play each other in the semi-final at Bouaké’s Stade de la Paix on Wednesday.
But the former Ajax player said in a Channels Television interview that the Super Eagles need to dispatch South Africa with the same self-assurance and tenacity they showed against Angola.
“Listen, boys, the country doesn’t have faith in you guys even before the tournament; you have to earn that trust on your own. Babangida remarked, “You now believe that you will win the Cup and that nothing can stop you.
Since you’ve previously demonstrated it in the last match [against Angola]. Because it is only the confidence that you show that makes you beat that team [Angola] and the discipline you used in that match, you are the same again against South Africa; you are going to beat them.
“They can make all the mouth and I’m sure no team is going to stand in your way. We are waiting for you to bring the cup to Abuja, and God willing, you will bring the cup.”
